Once you’ve selected a program, carefully review these terms and conditions. By making a payment for any program or tour offered by Machu Picchu Eco Travel, you signify your consent and agreement to all the terms and conditions presented here, which are binding for all tours.
Before making any payment, contact us for guidance. To confirm your chosen program, a 50% deposit per person is needed. This deposit becomes non-refundable if the client cancels. When you proceed with the payment, you enter a contract with Machu Picchu Eco Travel, and your travel arrangements are confirmed upon receiving our written acknowledgment.
You can pay the 50% pre-payment via WESTERN UNION, PAYPAL, or other online methods, making sure the transfer is in the name of a Machu Picchu Eco Travel staff member. Any bank fees and transfer costs are the client’s responsibility.
Prices are in U.S. dollars. Finalize your payment at our office at least 24 hours before your tour starts. We accept cash (in Peruvian soles or American dollars) and Visa payments (with an 8% commission charge). The agreed-upon price during booking remains constant.
If you decide to cancel your booking, inform Machu Picchu Eco Travel in writing. Your deposit will not be refunded. Depending on the cancellation reason, your insurance might cover it.
For cancellations more than 15 days before the tour, you’ll lose the 50% deposit. If you cancel between 15 and 7 days prior, a 50% refund of the tour price is possible only if the full payment was made beforehand. If cancellations occur less than 48 hours before the start or if you cancel part of the tour, no refunds are given.
If unexpected events occur, such as technical problems, adverse weather, strikes, riots, or governmental decisions, Machu Picchu Eco Travel will suggest alternatives or equivalent travel solutions. No refunds will be given. We can adjust the itinerary if required.
If major changes are needed, we will inform you before the departure date. Any extra costs arising from this are the client’s responsibility. Machu Picchu Eco Travel won’t cover expenses the client incurred while preparing for the tour.
If Machu Picchu Eco Travel cancels, you’ll receive a full refund.
